Winemaker for a Day is an immersive wine blending and winery team-building experience in Montalcino, guided by Roberto Cipresso. More than a traditional wine tasting, it is a hands-on blending workshop designed for companies, groups, and people who want to share a creative and memorable challenge.
You will taste different base wines, imagine a style, and work together to create your own blend, discovering how every decision — and even the smallest change in percentage — can radically transform the final result.
PHASE 1 — From the Glass to Your Formula
In front of you: base wines, glasses, and blending tools. Under the guidance of Roberto Cipresso, you will discover what each component can contribute to the final wine — freshness, structure, elegance, depth — and how even a small variation can transform its character.
Then the challenge begins.
Divided into teams, you will imagine the wine you want to create and translate that vision into precise percentages. You taste, compare, adjust, and refine until you reach your final formula.
This is where wine blending becomes team building: different ideas must find a balance and become one wine.
A Break in Montalcino
Approximately 90 minutes to refresh the senses and experience the surrounding territory.
Upon request: a panoramic lunch at Boccon DiVino, private catering at the winery, or a cultural visit to Montalcino.
Then it is back to the glasses. And the rules change.
PHASE 2 — The Blind Verdict
The blends are served without revealing who created them. Each participant tastes and votes: no names, no roles, no preconceptions.
The winning team is the one that has successfully transformed a shared vision into a wine capable of genuinely convincing the others.
