The Winemaker's Word

Founder and Winemaker

For millennia, the Areni vine has drawn its lifeblood from the rocks of ancient Armenia. In the shadow of legendary Mount Ararat, a harsh and sacred soil preserves the legacy of a timeless wine. It was in an ancestral cave that, six thousand years ago, the first winemaking in history came to light. To drink it today is to return to the origins, exploring the most remote soul of this land.
