In an atmosphere charged with meaning, where life triumphed over destruction, the mission was clear: to explore resilient wines. Wines born in lands marked by tension, yet capable of carrying messages of peace and safeguarding a priceless genetic memory.
The participants were guided on a journey that touched upon the raw nerves of our time, demonstrating how viticulture can become an act of heroism. The tasting included:
▷ The courage of Ukraine, embodied in the Telti Kuruk from Big Wines, an ancestral soul that proves how life and beauty can flourish even in the shadow of war.
▷ A return to the origins, in Armenia, the cradle of viticulture, with the Areni from Keush. An expression of heroic viticulture, a symbol of resistance that defies all climatic and historical adversity.
▷ The discovery of the forbidden beauty of Iran, through the Rashen from Molana. A tribute to the millennial Persian culture that survives in a context of “dangerous viticulture”, an act of cultural and passionate defiance.
Every glass poured in Pompeii was not just a taste, but a bridge between cultures, a tangible symbol of hope. It was more than a tasting. It was the first, powerful chapter in the story of "Terre Drammatiche del Vino". An honor to have shared it.
