This is not just an invitation to drink wine, but an invitation to listen. As Roberto Cipresso himself states:
"After more than forty years dedicated to my passion for wine, the time has come for me to reflect. I've been fortunate enough to meet extraordinary people and have had experiences that have enriched me immensely. Now, in my sixties, I feel an urgent need: to give back this privilege"
In an era when wine is often reduced to fleeting trends, "Wine of Silence" draws attention to its universal value. Wine is a message of beauty, the voice of contested lands, and a testament to resilience. The project's mission is clear: to support viticulture in conflict zones, defending the memory and dignity of "frontier winemakers."
These "dramatic wines," born in extreme conditions, are moving and tell stories of courage. Every sip becomes a symbol of cultural resistance and hope.
The tasting, led by Roberto Cipresso, will include labels from:
▷ UKRAINE: From the Odessa region, we will taste the Telti Kuruk 2024 from Big Wines. A wine that is a symbol of courage, a testament to a viticulture that endures and affirms that culture can flourish even in the shadow of war.
▷ ARMENIA: The cradle of viticulture for over 6,000 years, today it faces immense geopolitical challenges. The 2016 Keush Areni embodies the soul of heroic viticulture, surviving closed borders and instability.
▷ IRAN: From ancient Persia, where viticulture is pushed into the shadows, we will taste the 2021 Molana Rashen. A wine that is a profound act of resilience, a tribute to the culture and passion that persist against all prohibitions.
Participating in this event means delving deeper into the creative world of Roberto Cipresso and actively supporting a noble cause. It's an opportunity to engage, listen, and understand how a bottle of wine can become a bridge between cultures and a message of peace.
