The Word of the Producer

Founder and Winemaker

The Areni grape variety has millennia-old roots in the rock of ancient Armenia. Beneath the eternal shadow of Mount Ararat, a harsh and sacred land holds the secrets of an immortal wine. In a venerable cave, six thousand harvests ago, the world's first wine was born. Today, savoring a sip is a journey through time, into the heart of deepest Armenia.

Tasting Notes

Visual Appearance

Intense and bright ruby red, with elegant garnet reflections.

Aromatic Sensations

The nose is complex, exuding small red fruits, pomegranate, and morello cherry, intertwined with floral notes of dried rose and violet. A deep vein of flint, graphite, oriental spices, sweet tobacco, leather, and a balsamic hint of mountain herbs then emerges.

Taste-Olfactory Sensations

The palate is supported by an Alpine acidity that lends freshness and vitality. The tannins are extremely fine, silky, and perfectly integrated, the result of long maturation. Red fruits and a dark citrus note evolve into a very long finish dominated by spicy notes and a lingering mineral-saline trail that cleanses the palate and invites another sip.
