The Word of the Producer

Founder and Winemaker

There are truths that only time can reveal. This Riserva is the embodiment of that thought. It is not a wine that is produced, but a wait that is fulfilled: the moment when an exceptional vintage, after a long and silent dialogue with the wood and with itself, is ready to reveal its deepest soul.

In the glass, time becomes matter. A layered story is revealed, a complex architecture where each element has found its definitive place. Its power is not muscular, but the serene strength of wisdom. It is a sip that demands to be listened to, a lingering echo, the naked truth of Sangiovese and its chosen place.

It is a wine not to be drunk, but to be meditated upon. The most complex truth of our terroir, finally revealed.

Tasting Notes

Visual Appearance

Deep and intense garnet red, crossed by warm amber reflections

Aromatic Sensations

A broad and complex bouquet, where notes of ripe and jammy red fruit (cherry, dried plum) evolve towards a darker and deeper register: hints of leather, sweet tobacco and spices, tied together by a balsamic note of undergrowth.

Taste-Olfactory Sensations

On the palate, it's enveloping, supported by dense, velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that adds freshness and energy. The finish is remarkably persistent, with echoes of sweet spices, leather, and a final note of licorice root.
