The Word of the Producer

Founder and Winemaker

A favorite son of the red soil of Sencelles, Callet is the essence of island finesse. A grape variety that doesn't shout, but whispers tales of wind and stone, transforming the arid landscape into a sip of vibrant and aristocratic Mediterranean elegance.

Tasting Notes

Visual Appearance

Ruby red with purple hues

Aromatic Sensations

On the nose, it's intriguing and decidedly spicy. The opening is dominated by fresh red and black fruit: blueberry, wild blackberry, and morello cherry. Its distinctive character immediately emerges: pungent notes of black pepper intertwine with an evocative mineral trace of flint and graphite, creating a complex and penetrating bouquet.

Taste-Olfactory Sensations

On the palate, it's vibrant and lively. The entry is juicy, supported by a freshness that lends great dynamism to the palate. It's an elegant and taut wine, with smooth yet present tannins. The finish is long and clean, with a consistent return of peppery and berry notes.
